An-Chi Liu
Ruth House Manager, Counselor Intern
My name is An-Chi and I’m “that international student” others recognize in class and on campus. I was born and raised in Taiwan and came to the University of South Florida in Tampa for a Master’s in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling in 2016. Coming from a collective culture, I wasn’t prepared for the conflict and contradicting values that exist between the East and West. Compass has provided me with a safe space and support to explore and grow. It came to me how important it is to have such community and support no matter which life stage you are at. With my experience working with trauma and emotional distress and further training in neuroscience, my passion is to help each individual discover their own value and uniqueness created by God.
